Welcome to Real Estate Agents of Africa. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility
By using this platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding agreements.

2. Account Access and Subscription
Once you sign up, you will automatically gain access to the Agent Dashboard. To make your profile visible to the public, you must subscribe to a Pro Account by making the required payment. This subscription is valid for one year and must be renewed annually. Failure to renew your Pro Account will result in your account being downgraded to a Basic Account, which will make your profile visible only to you, the account owner.

All subscription and membership details, including renewal status, can be found on the Agent Dashboard. You must be logged in to view this information.

3. Payment and Invoice
We accept payments via M-Pesa and credit cards. All invoices for subscription renewals or listing fees will be sent to the email address associated with your account. Listing fees and subscription rates are subject to change without notice, so please refer to our Pricing page for the most up-to-date information.

4. Verification Request
When you submit a verification request, your profile will be temporarily taken offline (not visible to the public), and you will not be able to modify the information submitted for verification. During the verification process, which takes up to 24 hours, your profile will remain offline.

Upon successful verification, your profile will be reinstated online, and a verification badge will be granted. If the information submitted cannot be verified with the relevant bodies, your verification request will be denied, and your profile will remain offline to maintain platform credibility.

5. Use of the Platform
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You may not use the site to post or transmit any material that is fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

6. Agent Listings and Verification
To be listed as an agent or agency, you must provide accurate and verifiable information, including your name, company details, education, experience, awards, and certifications. While we make efforts to verify this information, we do not guarantee the completeness or reliability of any listing. Listings can be removed or rejected if they do not meet our standards.

7. No Liability for Fraudulent Transactions
While we strive to verify the credibility of all agents listed on our platform, we do not take responsibility for any fraud or issues that arise from transactions between clients and agents. All interactions and engagements between agents and clients are the sole responsibility of the involved parties.

8. Ratings
The agent ratings displayed on our site are based on public feedback and ratings from users. We do not have control over the ratings or reviews provided by the public.

9. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent or unethical behavior. Upon account deletion, all user data will be permanently removed from our servers.

10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including logos, text, graphics, and design elements, is the property of Real Estate Agents of Africa and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

11. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use our services, including errors or inaccuracies in listings, or actions of third-party agents listed on the platform.

12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
